FITZ Brut (2017)

FITZ Brut (2017)

The 2017 growing season was slow to start after a long cold snowy winter.  A cool wet prolonged spring seemed to turn overnight into a hotter than normal and dry summer.  Autumn was moderate with lengthy hang times which helps retain our signature site acidity.

The Fitz Brut is made using traditional methods from 100% estate grown grapes from Greata Ranch Vineyard.

The 2017 Fitz Brut is Chardonnay dominant which brings bright, crisp acidity and freshness.  Notes of green apple and pear.  The mid palate brings depth and body with mild brioche notes which will develop with age.  The length is focused and refreshing.
